The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) is a mandatory travel authorisation for citizens of countries in the US Visa Waiver Program (VWP). It allows you to travel to the United States for tourism, business, or transit for up to 90 days without a visa.

Citizens of all Visa Waiver Program countries who intend to travel to the United States by air or sea must obtain an ESTA before boarding their flight or cruise ship. VWP countries include the UK, most EU nations, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and others.

An approved ESTA is valid for 2 years from the date of approval, or until your passport expires — whichever comes first. During this period, you can make multiple trips to the US, each for up to 90 days.

Filling out the form takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Once submitted, most applications receive a decision within 24–72 hours. We recommend applying at least 72 hours before your travel date.

You will need: a valid biometric (e-passport) from a VWP country, your email address, a credit or debit card for payment, and your travel dates/flight details if available. Having your passport to hand when filling in the form is strongly recommended.

Yes. Each traveller requires their own individual ESTA application as the authorisation is linked to their specific passport. Our service allows you to submit applications for multiple people at once.
